Job Description
As a Financial Controller at Metricalo, you will play a critical role in managing our financial activities and strategies. Your expertise will ensure our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently, aligning with our business goals and compliance standards. You will lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audits, providing strategic insights to support the company’s growth and financial health.
Responsibilities
- Drive the budgeting process, creating comprehensive financial models to enhance forecasting accuracy and inform strategic business decisions.
- Oversee precise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage cash flow effectively, optimize working capital, and prepare reliable cash flow forecasts to maintain adequate liquidity for operations.
- Design and enforce robust internal controls to safeguard assets and proactively identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process, ensuring timely and accurate tax planning and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and refine finance department processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, and professional growth.
- Partner with executives to align financial insights with strategic planning, driving improved business performance and decision-making.
- Present clear, actionable financial metrics and insights, highlighting key business risks to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management and accounting, preferably in an SME environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
- Proficient in financial software and accounting systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
