The Role

 

We are looking for a People and Talent Specialist to join our team in Dubai. This role is key in shaping our company culture, strengthening our employer brand, and fostering a work environment where employees feel engaged and supported. You will also play an active role in the recruitment process, ensuring we attract, hire, and retain top talent.

Beyond recruitment, you will develop and implement HR policies, manage people administration, and ensure smooth HR operations. This includes overseeing onboarding and offboarding, maintaining accurate employee records and supporting employee engagement initiatives. You will also ensure compliance with UAE labor laws while driving HR best practices in performance management and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Supporting initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of employer branding strategies to attract and retain talent.
  • Acting as a point of contact for employee queries related to policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.
  • Supporting employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction and well-being.
  • Ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Assisting in the implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
  • Supporting managers in addressing performance issues and implementing improvement plans.
  • Generating and analyzing HR reports related to staffing, turnover, and key workforce metrics, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Staying informed about HR trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to support continuous improvement.
  • Assisting with the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews, to ensure a smooth hiring experience.
  • Supporting the onboarding process to help new employees integrate effectively into the organization.

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR and People & Talent roles, with a focus on employee engagement, culture development, and HR operations.
  • Strong understanding of UAE labor laws, including regulations related to employment contracts, working hours, leave entitlements, termination procedures, and visa sponsorship requirements.
  • Proven experience in ensuring HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with UAE labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills to effectively manage employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary matters under UAE labor laws and company policies.
  • Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment contracts, including terms and conditions, benefits, and compensation packages, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Experience in supporting recruitment and onboarding processes, including sourcing, screening, and hiring for various roles across the company.
  • Ability to identify recruitment challenges and develop innovative solutions to attract and retain top talent, with a focus on diverse skill sets across the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive attitude and a passion for supporting a people-first environment, fostering positive workplace culture, and building a high-performing team.
